Description

The Selous Game Reserve is the largest protected wildlife reserve, a UN World Heritage site and a pristine uninhabited area larger than Switzerland. The topography of the park varies from rolling savannah woodland, grassland plain and rocky outcrops cut by the Rufiji River and its tributaries. You can expect to watch elephants, buffalos, wildebeests, eland, giraffe, waterbuck, zebra, impala, lot of hippos, crocodiles and often even leopards and prides of lion. There are also about 350 species of bird life to be discovered. Lunch will be taken as a packed lunch at one of the picturesque picnic sites around the park.

After an adventures game drive your guide will take you back to Selous Airstrip for your flight back to dar es Salaam or Zanzibar around 16:00 hrs.
